Yes - I know he's coming, but the Bible says even Jesus doesn't know when that time will be, so how can we as the human race, say that it is near? When is near? Some say it will be in my lifetime - but how do we know this? More to come - let me think on it and chat with Steve b/c I know he has some questions too! Thanks! Erin Fabrizio Baum Hi Jason

What happens when they die-I remember the sermon "once saved always saved" but I am still confused. The first is this-I had a co-worker ask me-after he had watched the History channel-where did the New Testament originate from and why were some books left out and others included. I could only tell him that in the NT there are references to the OT. So-where did our "handbook" come from? I feel like I should know the answer! My second question goes back to a past sermon of "once saved always saved." What happens to those who accept Christ-but then through the course of their lives-back slide tremendously and leave the path of God. What happens to them when they die? Thanks Jason. I get so much from everyone of your sermons. You are such a BLESSING to me and my family. I have two questions. If that is true, then what is the point of praying for those who are sick, hurt in accidents etc.? Comment on Remembering Irv by EJ http://www.gracekinston.org/jason/?p=7#comment-6 EJ Sun, 12 Oct 2008 04:08:43 +0000 http://www.gracekinston.org/jason/?p=7#comment-6 I am currently recovering from a divorce and have sole custody of my 2 girls age 14 and 8. Today my oldest one told me that it was hard living with an unhappy mom. I just recently joined a new church (http://www.stmarkschurch.org) in my home town and reaching out in others ways like reading this blog. So I am reconnecting with God in this difficult time in my life. Along this journey, I have discovered a true christian friend who connected me with your website. We just spent the last two hours discussing Irv's life and the impact his ministry of life has extended to others like us. Colossians 3:12 was a very moving version for me because I am in a current situation that I need to work at bringing happiness to others by a simple smile. I have come along way in the past year since starting this new life with my girls, but know that I will continue to grow through people like Irv, Susan and Jason. These words truly moved me during this healing time and I just wanted to say thank you. One of my gifts from God is connecting with people. I hope that through my comments here that someone will connect with Irv's life like I did. I am currently recovering from a divorce and have sole custody of my 2 girls age 14 and 8. This was great! I too have taken a break from the media but could not find a method to get some good feedback from the candidates. Thank you so much for sharing. I do hope that more people will watch this and take a break from the media. WOW! This was great! Comment on Greater things have yet to come… by EJ http://www.gracekinston.org/jason/?p=5#comment-4 EJ Sun, 12 Oct 2008 01:33:53 +0000 http://www.gracekinston.org/jason/?p=5#comment-4 Just recently I have felt like greater things are yet to come in my personal. A friend has told me about your church so I started listening and viewing your website for more information. I just wanted to let you know that the greater things that Grace is doing will far reach beyond Kinston NC since people like myself don't live in that area. Thank you for reaching out via this blog.
